There is a lot that goes into making the albums that we love. There are the songs, either written by the artist or curated somehow. There is the choice of studio, and with it - the finances to back whatever that choice becomes. There is the producer, the instrumentation you want to use, and of course there is the artist or band who are the stars and get all the accolades. While that sounds like most of the important elements in making a great album…. those elements are missing maybe the most important ingredient other than the artist themselves.
